HappyThankYouMorePlease

I just heard of a film made by Josh Radnor (you might know him from the hit TV show “How I Met Your Mother”). It’s a very positive film titled, “HappyThankYouMorePlease”. He said in an interview that he heard that when you are grateful for something, it’s just not enough to tell the Universe “thank you”. You should also say “more, please”. I thought this idea was a brilliant way to go through life. In Huna, they have the Aloha blessing, which can totally change your life. You simply bless everything you enjoy about your life as it shows up. It incorporates the power of two things: your word and your intention. When you bless something and are grateful for it, it expands in your life. If you want more money, but don’t have enough, take a good look at how you treat richness in the world. Do you bless… Read the rest....

Appreciating Yourself and Increasing Your Value

As within, so without. The way you think about yourself is the way the world thinks about you. If you value yourself, the world values you… …if you don’t value you yourself, you might find that money does not flow to you. If you ignore your needs, you may find people not paying attention to you… …not giving you the credit you deserve. If you’re not sure how you feel about yourself, then people will reflect that back to you, having mixed feelings as well. Have you ever taken the time to notice this? It is amazing. And when you finally realize what’s going on, you take your power back. You stop blaming and get to work. Here is a simple exercise I credit to Serge Kahili King, Ph.D., an amazing Huna teacher. It’s simple, but might be difficult to maintain; however it is well worth the effort if you… Read the rest....

How ‘Poor’ Are You?

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, “How was the trip?” “It was great, Dad.” “Did you see how poor people live?” the father asked. “Oh yeah,” said the son. “So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?” asked the father. The son answered: “I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the… Read the rest....

Ten Reasons to Love Yourself

We all feel down on ourselves sometimes and it hurts. How can you feel good about yourself when you’re beating on yourself? Does it really help you to be a better person or is it really making everything worse? Put an end to it now! See what a difference it makes when you are vibrating at a higher level. Here are ten good reasons to love and appreciate YOU! 1. You are lovable. You were born lovable and it is your true nature. Magnificent you!

One reason I like Huna so much, is that it offers such a beautiful understanding of our psycho-spiritual nature. Long, long before Freud  discovered his subconscious mind, Huna knew exactly what it was, how to communicate with it, how to program it, how to get it to do your bidding. Huna also understood that there is a Higher Self as well, something modern psychology is just starting to grasp. Huna has its roots in the oldest spiritual traditions known on Earth. Huna means ‘secret’. Thousands of years ago, as the wise elders saw that this wisdom was in danger of being lost, they ‘hid’ the Huna code in the Hawaiian language as Hawaii was a very remote and isolated region. Today, Huna is no longer secret and we can benefit from its love, wisdom and power. It belongs to the Earth and is very pure since it was untouched by… Read the rest....
