What You Feel is More Important Than What Others Say

I am sure you have heard before that it is important to love yourself and here is a good reason why. Your personal vibration, beliefs and inner wounds change the way you experience life.  The more care you take to love yourself and care for yourself, the more you will see the world as a caring and loving place.   When your subconscious is mad, sad or feeling like a victim, it looks for experiences in the outer world and interprets things to validate that feeling. If you’ve activated your victim beliefs and wounds everyone will be out to get you.  “She really doesn’t like my dress. She’s just saying that so I’ll say something nice back to her.”  If you are in a good, happy mood you would see everything differently. “Oh, isn’t she nice to notice!” Our distortion of reality can even extend to inanimate objects. Happiness is Within You

Most of us spend a lifetime chasing down happiness…and it somehow is so elusive. I’ll be happy when I graduate, I’ll be happy when I’m married, I’ll be happy when we have a house, I’ll be happy when my bills are paid, etc. Even when we achieve a goal, there is always another one. Now, here is the beauty of Begin Within. Happiness is always inside of you. It is always there, but gets covered up by other emotions. All of these emotions are triggered by what’s going on outside of you, but the happiness, love, joy or any other emotion resides inside… all the time. You subconscious doesn’t know the difference between what’s going on outside your mind or inside your mind. If you imagine a time when you… Read the rest....

The Mind-Body Connection to Conquer Challenges

We all have a physical body, emotional body and mental body and they all influence each other. I’m sure you’ve had the experience where alot of mental stress (mental) makes your irritable (emotional) and exhausted (physical), or when eating too much sugar (physical) and made you feel agitated (emotional) and not thinking straight (mental). There are many examples you can think of where it’s clear that one body is affecting the others. You can use this to your advantage. If one body is feeling down, use the other two bodies to bring it back up. For instance, if you are down-in-the-dumps emotionally, use your physical and mental bodies to bring yourself back up. Instead of sitting glued to your seat in a slumping position, change your physiology!  Stand up, push your chest out and takes deep breaths. Instead of telling yourself how miserable you are, change your thinking!  Tell yourself… Read the rest....

Picking Yourself Up When You’re Feeling Down

When I’m down, down in the dumps, everything feels bad. I’m not interested in anything, don’t feel like connecting with others or even going outside, don’t even try to move me. Pass the ice cream. It seems that I want anything that will actually make me feel even worse!  The last thing I want is to see happy, joyous people, laughing and having everything I can’t have. It’s like a part of me is keeping me prisoner and won’t let go. Wow! That’s pretty dismal. And, the fact is, I truly am down. I’m feeling bad because my physiology is in my down state – slumping, shallow breathing, frowning, heavy, looking down. My feelings are heavy like quick sand, just pulling me farther in. My thoughts are supporting the whole process with fantasies and stories of how down I am, how it will last forever, there is no hope. Have… Read the rest....
